Patriotic Headband

I wanted a headband to match my 4th of July shirt so I made one!  It was simple.  I had an old red t-shirt that I cut up and used for the band.  I really like the t-shirt material because there is so much give and it's not tight on my head like others.  I then cut a blue strip of material and then cut out two white stars.  Sewed them on and it was done!

I love the frayed edges on the blue stripe and the white stars.
It turned out just perfect!

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!!

Kids 4th of July Shirt

I got this idea from a post on Make It and Love IT and couldn't wait to make one for my daughter! I followed the tutorial and ended up with the cutest 4th of July shirt!  I bought a white tank top at Walmart, used an old red t-shirt for the stripes, scrap material for the blue square, and white buttons for stars.

Don't mind the man in the background or the pizza in her hand--just check out her darling shirt!
